CHATEAU DU POYET

The Bonneau family have been quietly growing wine grapes here since 1913, and many of the vines are now 60 or more years old. These old vines - low-yielding and naturally concentrated - give a wine of remarkable depth for the appellation, beautifully made, with a pure expression of minerality from the schist bedrock. A very serious alternative to Chablis at a fraction of the price !
