CHATEAU BRONDELLE

The secret of Château Brondelle is its special "terroir", a wide gravel bank with the poor stony soil acting as extremely efficient natural drainage. Located just outside Langon on the edge of the Sauternes appellation, most of the property benefits from the Graves control of origin. Both red and white Graves of exceptional quality are produced. Far more complex and profound than most of the wines from the Southern Graves, they have gorgeous fruit, persistent and powerful flavours that put them in the same league as the better known Classified Graves from Pessac Léognan.
Immense care is taken by the Belloc family over the vineyards and winemaking with constant efforts being made for further improvements. A delicious well priced Sauternes, Château Fontaine, is also produced in small quantities.
